class_groupOur roles as parents will change as our children grow. Thankfully, there is a resource called PEN, designed to help us find answers, gain skills, and be more prepared to handle our parenting experiences and emotions and build effective and rewarding relationships with our kids.

PEN – Parent Engagement Network is a parent-based community group that is active in many BVSD elementary, middle and high schools. PEN focuses on developing parenting skills by offering FREE education, awareness, and training to all parents and community members on topics concerning our youth and youth development.

PEN’s focus is to develop effective communication tools and promote our children’s strengths and assets by utilizing parenting strategies and methods such as The 40 Developmental Assets technology, Resiliency Training, Love & Logic parenting classes, etc.
