Located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) stretches from the peaks of the Continental Divide to the suburbs of Denver.
BVSD has 55 schools over 500 square miles, approximately 28,500 students, more than 4000 employees, and covers Boulder, Gold Hill, Jamestown, Lafayette, Louisville, Nederland, Superior, Ward, and parts of Broomfield and Erie

PEN works in collaboration with many fantastic organizations and companies who share similar values, and who work to achieving the same or similar ends - be it for individual families within our community, or for the community at large. The Body Beloved Revolution is a call for a fundamental change in the way we relate to our body. It is a turning away from the pain and destruction caused by negative body image and a moving towards the joy and gratitude that comes from embracing our body’s magnificence. This shift in perception radically changes our life, liberating us from compulsive thoughts and behaviors and opening us to peace and love-based actions.
The Boulder County Eating Disorders Coalition was formed in 2006 to fill a need for a centralized source of information about Eating Disorder treatment options in Boulder County.

Boulder County Sheriff's Office manages it's own Communications Center staffed by a Division Chief, a Commander, four shift supervisors, three technicians, twenty-four dispatchers and support personnel. This Public Service Answering Point (PSAP) is one of four in Boulder County. We provide Law, Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) 9-1-1 call answering and dispatching services for Boulder County, Boulder City Fire Department, Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, Erie, Lyons, Nederland and Ward.
Boulder Psychological Services (BPS) provides high quality assessments as well as individual, couples, family, and group counseling services for children, teens, and adults.

Boulder Valley Media Alliance (TV channel 22) operates and facilitates the educational access television channel for Boulder County in order to both serve and strengthen local communities and provide and facilitate high quality educational, cultural, arts/music, news, public affairs/events, and science/environmental programming for Boulder County citizens.
The Center for Compassionate Connections is dedicated to advancing compassionate thought, communication, and action within all working, living, and learning communities.
The City Club is a safe place for passionate and caring people to explore our differences, discover our common ground, and enrich our world while having a good time.
Colie's Closet is a nonprofit organization of teenagers and young adults working together to further the understanding and treatment of depression and the prevention of suicide, and they provide financial assistance for professional treatment of depressed and suicidal individuals.
Dreamcatcher teaches basic academic skills in reading, writing, spelling, math, critical thinking and study skills. Using Direct Instruction, a research-validated, learner-verified teaching method, successful learning is guaranteed. Direct Instruction is a highly structured, intensive system which absolutely prepares the educator in such a way that all children learn to 100% mastery of the subject.
The focus of the Growe Foundation is on experiential learning opportunities for children, their families and communities around healthier choices for their body and planet. Through a community outreach approach, the Growe Foundation supports interactive programming that ignites our inquisitive nature and allows us to reach an understanding of the interconnectedness of our planet. Our elementary school program, Garden To Table provides BVSD schools with the resources and support to build school gardens and create hands on learning opportunities that tie into grade based curriculum.

Educates, engages, and empowers the community about depression awareness and suicide prevention in order to save lives.
Impact on Education
is focused on raising support for public education in the areas of Teacher Excellence, Science, Technology and Math and "At-risk" Students through after school programs, partnerships between students, schools and community, and through advocacy that reduces inequities, budget disparities, and creates opportunities for students.
Love and Logic - simple and practical techniques to help parents and teachers have less stress and more fun while raising responsible kids.
Michael Vladeck of Bringing Forth Personal Coaching and Counseling works with parents and teenagers on creating healthier, more connected and supportive family relationships that helps parents become more effective at helping their kids, and that help kids become more effective at relating to themselves and their world.
The pursuit of wisdom at Naropa University means learning both about academic subjects and about one's own place in the world. The mission of contemplative education—combining the best of Western and Eastern academic traditions—places Naropa on the cutting edge of the newest and most effective methods of teaching and learning. It also makes Naropa University unique—it's the onlyfully accredited Buddhist-inspired university in the United States.
The Parent Support Center, a program of the BVSD Special Education Office, is committed to collaborative relationships between parents, special education teachers, general educators and local community resources to better support all students in their learning process. They supports all families who have a student with a suspected or diagnosed disability.
The Partnership for a Drug-Free America is a non-profit coalition of professionals from the communications industry working to decrease demand for drugs by changing attitudes that support, tolerate, or condone drug use. The Kids/Teens web page offers sections on drugs and substance abuse, culture, prevention, and recovery.
Second Wind Fund, Inc.
Teen Suicide Prevention/Your community. Your kids. Second Fund of Boulder County serves youth with a new and unique approach for youth at-risk for suicide.
Sue Blaney empowers, educates and connects parents of teenagers. She is the author of Please Stop the Rollercoaster! How Parents of Teenagers Can Smooth Out the Ride, a guide for parents and a parent discussion group program. The YMCA of Boulder Valley has been helping to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities since 1975, providing quality after school programs for Boulder Valley families .
